Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham praised his teammates Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde following their thrilling 3-2 victory over Atletico Madrid. The match, part of the 29th round of La Liga, was played at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
Bellingham returned to action for Real Madrid after recovering from an injury that sidelined him for nearly seven weeks, contributing to an important victory that keeps Real Madrid in the title race.
In statements reported by Mundo Deportivo, Bellingham said: “Vinicius and Valverde are performing at a fantastic level. In difficult moments, they always show their best and help the team. They were crucial elements during the injury period. Fede embodies the fighting spirit, and Vinicius is an example of a strong comeback after challenges”.
He added: “The team has been performing exceptionally well lately, both defensively and offensively, especially in the last two or three matches. This explains the series of positive results we have achieved”.
The English star spoke about the atmosphere of the match, saying: “The atmosphere at the Bernabeu is always exceptional, and the fans give us a big boost, especially in big matches like the derby or facing Manchester City”.
