London, England – Manchester City won the Carabao Cup title, after defeating Arsenal 2-0 in the final match held at Wembley Stadium.
City dominated possession, but the first half ended goalless. Then, in the 60th minute, Nico Aurier broke the deadlock, capitalizing on a mistake by goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to head home the opening goal.

The match saw Omar Marmoush remain on the bench without playing, as coach Pep Guardiola fielded the same starting lineup throughout. His only substitution came in the 90th minute, bringing on Phil Foden in place of Rayan Cherki.
With this victory, Manchester City returned to the Carabao Cup podium after an absence of four seasons, since their last title win in the 2020-2021 season.
