Cairo, Egypt – Pyramids FC bid farewell to the CAF Champions League quarter-finals after losing 2-1 to Morocco’s FAR Rabat in their match on Saturday evening at the Air Defense Stadium.
The first leg had ended in a positive draw (1-1), so the Moroccan team secured its qualification to the semi-finals with an aggregate score of (3-2).
The Royal Army started the confrontation with clear strength, taking advantage of the decline in Pyramids’ performance in the first minutes, and succeeded in opening the scoring early in the ninth minute through Reda Selim, after an organized attack that he finished with a powerful shot that settled in the net.

With this loss, Pyramids bids farewell to the tournament, while the Royal Army sets up a semi-final meeting with the winner of the match between Renaissance Berkane and Al-Hilal.
