Lisbon, Portugal – Roberto Martinez, the coach of the Portuguese national team, announced the official squad for the March training camp, as part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
The list witnessed the absence of star Cristiano Ronaldo, due to the injury he suffered recently while playing for Al-Nasr, which kept him away from a number of his team’s matches in the past period.

Portugal are scheduled to play two friendly matches during the international break, facing Mexico and the United States, as part of their World Cup preparation program.
The Portugal national team roster is as follows:

Defense: Matheus Nunez – Diogo Dalot – Joao Cancelo – Nuno Mendes – Gonzalo Inacio – Renato Veiga – Antonio Silva – Tomas Araujo.
