Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Al-Ittihad Jeddah lost to their host Al-Riyadh by three goals to one, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, as part of the Saudi Professional League competitions.
Al-Ittihad visited Al-Riyadh at Al-Shabab Club Stadium, as part of the 26th round of the Saudi Roshan League competition.
Al-Ittihad took the lead early in the fifth minute through Youssef En-Nesyri, after he received a cross and headed it perfectly into the net.
Al-Riyadh equalized in the 48th minute through Leandro Antunes, who took advantage of a mistake by the Al-Ittihad goalkeeper to shoot the ball into the goal.
In the 80th minute, Antonio Jose Toze scored Al-Riyadh’s second goal, once again taking advantage of a mistake by the Al-Ittihad goalkeeper to put the ball in the net.
In the dying moments, specifically at the 90+4 minute, Mamadou Sylla Diallo strengthened Al-Riyadh’s lead by scoring the third goal, ending Al-Ittihad’s hopes of returning to the game.
