Cairo, Egypt – Danish coach Jess Torup, manager of the Egyptian Al-Ahly team, announced the team’s roster that is preparing to face Tunisian side Esperance Sportive de Tunis in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
Al Ahly’s delegation will leave Cairo today, Thursday, heading to Tunisia, in order to enter a closed camp in preparation for the anticipated match against Esperance, by decision of Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president, following the team’s recent loss to Tala’ea El Gaish in the Egyptian Premier League.
The list witnessed the absence of Karim Fouad after he suffered a serious injury during the match against Al Mokawloon Al Arab in the league, while it recorded the return of Camoues after his absence from the team’s list in the last matches.
