Cairo, Egypt – Zamalek asserted their dominance at the top of the Egyptian Premier League table after securing a crucial away victory against Pyramids FC with a 1-0 scoreline. The match took place on Sunday evening as part of the 20th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The match, which was held at the Air Defense Stadium, witnessed a strong struggle between the two teams, before Zamalek managed to break the deadlock through Hossam Abdel-Maguid, who scored the only goal of the match in the 60th minute from a penalty kick that he successfully executed.

With this victory, Zamalek increased their points tally to 40, securing sole possession of the top spot in the league standings. Meanwhile, Pyramids FC remained on 37 points in second place, tied with Al Ahly in third.
