Cairo, Egypt – The draw for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League and the African Confederation Cup has resulted in tough matches for Egyptian clubs in the next round.
The draw ceremony was held today at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association in Cairo, in the presence of representatives of the qualified clubs.
The Champions League draw resulted in a fiery encounter between Al-Ahly and Esperance Sportive, while Pyramids will meet with the Royal Army.
In the Confederation Cup, Zamalek will face Congolese side Otoho in what appears to be a relatively average encounter, while Al-Masry of Port Said will face a tough test against Algerian side CR Belouizdad.
