London, England – The English Football Association announced on Thursday that it has renewed the contract of German Thomas Tuchel, the manager of the England national team, to continue in his position until the summer of 2028.
The federation explained in an official statement on its website that Tuchel signed a new contract to lead the “Three Lions” team until the 2028 European Championship, which is scheduled to be held in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The statement noted that the team, under Tuchel’s leadership, remained undefeated during its qualifying campaign for the upcoming World Cup, to be co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, prompting the FA to extend his contract for another two years.

The FA also confirmed that Tuchel’s coaching staff have signed new contracts extending until the summer of 2028, ensuring continued stability for the team in the coming period.
