Abu Dhabi, UAE – The match between Bani Yas and Al Bataeh ended in a 1-1 draw, in the UAE League competition held today, Sunday.
Bani Yas met Al Bataeh, at the former’s stadium, as part of the 13th round of the ADNOC Professional League competition.
Bani Yas’s goal was scored by Youssef Nketiah in the 39th minute, and Anatoli Bertrand equalized for Al Bataeh in the 96th minute.

Bani Yas secured a 1-0 lead against Al Bataeh at halftime. This came after Al Bataeh had the first attacking threat in the 13th minute with a surprise shot that struck Fahad Al Dhanhani’s crossbar.
Bani Yas responded with a header from Dekovic in the 25th minute, which Al Bataeh goalkeeper Abdul Rahman Mubarak dealt with calmly.
In the 39th minute, Youssef Nketiah took advantage of a mistake by Al Bataeh’s defense and scored the first goal, marking his third goal against them and reaching 25 goals in the ADNOC Pro League.
Bani Yas looked to extend their lead with a second goal at the start of the second half. Al Bataeh tried to get back into the game, and their first attempt of the half came in the 58th minute with a header from Anatoli Bertrand, but it went over the crossbar.
The excitement intensified in stoppage time between the two teams, as Al Bataeh’s goalkeeper shone and denied Bani Yas a goal that would have killed the game.
