Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Nasr team managed to achieve victory over Al Bataeh team with three goals to two, in the match that brought them together on Sunday evening, as part of the UAE League competition.
Al Bataeh met Al Nasr at Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium, as part of the ninth round of the UAE ADNOC League competition.
Al-Nasr took the lead first through Mehdi Gaidi in the 45+8 minute, after he received a pass into the penalty area, controlled it and scored a ball that went into the net.
Ibrahim Issa, a player for Al-Bataeh, was sent off in the 34th minute, meaning his team finished the match with 10 players.
Al-Bataeh managed to equalize in the 72nd minute, through Anatoli Bertrand, after a mistake by Al-Nasr’s goalkeeper in handling the ball.
Mehdi Gaidi returned again in the 73rd minute, to score Al-Nasr’s second goal, after a shot from the edge of the penalty area.
Al-Bataeh responded quickly with an equalizer in the 77th minute, through Anatoli Bertrand, after a scissor kick from inside the penalty area that found the back of the net.
In the 90th minute, Cheick Doumbia snatched a killer goal for Al-Nasr after a complete breakaway.

The win raised Al Nasr’s tally to 14 points in sixth place, while Al Bataeh came in 12th place with 6 points.
