Doha, Qatar – Morocco won the Arab Cup for the second time in its history, after defeating Jordan 3-2 in the final match held Thursday evening.
Jordan and Morocco met at Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar, in the final of the Arab Championship.
The match started strongly from the opening minutes, with Oussama Tannane scoring a historic goal for Morocco early on, specifically in the fourth minute.
The goal came after a shot from midfield, taking advantage of the Jordanian goalkeeper’s advanced position, to find the back of the net.

The goal came in the 87th minute. Jordan’s goalkeeper saved a header from Mohammad Rabee Harimat, but the ball rebounded to Abderrazak Hamdallah, who followed up with a close-range shot that found the back of the net.

In extra time, the Moroccan team succeeded in scoring a third goal in the 100th minute through Abderrazak Hamdallah.
The goal came after a shot from in front of the goal that found the back of the net.

Morocco maintained its lead in the final minutes with an organized defensive approach, to win the match with a score of (3-2).
With that result, the Moroccan national team wins the Arab Cup for the second time in its history.
