Doha, Qatar – Jordan’s national team has set up a meeting with Morocco in the final of the Arab Cup after defeating Saudi Arabia in the semi-final.
The Jordanian national team succeeded in defeating Saudi Arabia by one goal to nil, in the match that was held at Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar.
The match started well for both teams, but without any real danger to either goal. Play was mostly confined to the midfield.
Nawaf Meshari Al-Boushal, a player for the Saudi national team, shot a ball in the 19th minute, but it went past the left post.
The Jordanian national team succeeded in scoring the winning goal and taking the lead in the 66th minute, through Nizar Al-Rashdan.
The goal came after a cross from the left side by Mahmoud Al-Mardi, which he met with a header from inside the area that nestled into the left side of the goal.

With that result, the Jordanian national team secured a place in the Arab Cup final against Morocco, scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Lusail Stadium.
