Doha, Qatar – Algeria qualified for the quarterfinals of the Arab Cup after defeating Iraq 2-0 in their final group stage match on Tuesday evening.
Algeria met Iraq at Khalifa International Stadium in the third and final round of the Arab Championship.
Algeria’s first goal was scored by Mohamed Amine Tougai in the 45+1 minute. This happened after a mistake by the Iraqi defender in clearing the ball, which reached Tougai’s head, who put it into the net.
Meanwhile, Iraq’s Saad Natiq accidentally scored Algeria’s second goal in the 47th minute.

It is worth noting that the Iraqi national team had already qualified for the quarter-finals before the final round.

Bahrain thrashes Sudan 3-0
Bahrain’s national team achieved a resounding victory over Sudan with a score of (3-1), in the match that brought them together at Education City Stadium.
Sudan’s goals were scored by Mahdi Abdel Jabbar, Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, and Mahdi Hamidan in the 37th, 79th, and 89th minutes. Sudan’s goal was scored by Yasser Mozamel in the 72nd minute.
