Cairo, Egypt – English team Chelsea achieved a great victory over their Spanish guest Barcelona with three goals to nil, in the match that brought the two teams together on Tuesday, as part of the Champions League.
Barcelona visited Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, in the fifth round of the Champions League.
Chelsea started the match strongly and attacked Barcelona fiercely, managing to score a goal in the fourth minute through Enzo Fernandez, but the referee disallowed it due to offside.
Barcelona almost scored the opening goal in the sixth minute after Ferran Torres found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper inside the penalty area, but his shot went just wide of the post.
The referee also cancelled a goal by Enzo in the 23rd minute due to offside, and another in the 51st minute by Andre Santos.
Chelsea succeeded in scoring the first goal in the 27th minute after a perfect low cross from Cucurella, which was followed by the Chelsea striker and hit the foot of Barcelona defender Koundé and went into the net.

Chelsea continued to press in the second half, and succeeded in scoring the second goal through Estevao in the 55th minute after a brilliant run and shot into the net.

The match remained a back-and-forth affair between the two teams, with Chelsea dominating possession, until it ended with the Blues winning 3-0.
The win lifted Chelsea to 10 points in fourth place, while Barcelona came in 15th place with 7 points.
