Cairo, Egypt – FIFA announced on Monday that it has suspended the registration of Egyptian club Zamalek for three new transfer windows.
The decision to suspend the registration of the Egyptian team comes for the fifth time during the month of November, as it had been announced earlier on the 3rd and 6th of this month.
FIFA issued an official statement announcing a suspension of new registrations for Zamalek Club for the next three registration periods, until these outstanding dues are settled.

However, FIFA did not announce the reason for the latest transfer ban imposed on the White team, which was for 3 transfer windows.
According to Egyptian reports, the four previous registration penalties imposed on Zamalek were due to Jose Gomes and his assistants, for not paying outstanding financial dues.
It is worth noting that Zamalek achieved victory over their Zambian counterpart Zesco yesterday, Sunday, with a score of 1-0, in the first round of the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek is currently preparing to face South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs in the second round of the Confederation Cup on Sunday, November 30.
