In a thrilling match.. Al Wahda drew with Khorfakkan in the League Cup quarter-finals (video)

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The match between Khorfakkan and Al Wahda ended in a 2-2 draw, in the UAE Pro League Cup match held today, Saturday.

Khorfakkan met Al Wahda at Al Nahyan Stadium in the quarter-finals of the UAE Pro League Cup (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup).

Khorfakkan took the lead in the 51st minute, after a mistake by Al Wahda player Jadson da Silva in clearing a corner kick, which hit his body and turned into the net.

Meanwhile, Ailton Boa Morte added Khorfakkan’s second goal in the 80th minute, after a backheel shot that found the back of the net.

Omar Kharbin narrowed the gap for Al Wahda in the 89th minute, after a low, driven shot that nestled into the goalkeeper’s right corner.

In the dying moments, specifically in the 90+8th minute, Reza Ghandipur snatched the equalizer for Al Wahda with a powerful header that nestled in the net.
