Cairo, Egypt – Zamalek’s technical director, Ahmed Abdel Raouf, has settled on the lineup he will field against Pyramids in the Egyptian Super Cup.
Zamalek is scheduled to meet Pyramids on Thursday evening at Al Nahyan Stadium, in the semi-finals of the UAE Super Cup.
The Egyptian Super Cup will be held in the sisterly United Arab Emirates from November 6 to 9, with the participation of 4 teams: Al-Ahly, the Egyptian League champion, Zamalek, the Egyptian Cup champion, Ceramica Cleopatra, the League Cup champion, in addition to Pyramids, who will participate through the golden card.
Al Ahly is the most decorated club in the Egyptian Super Cup since its inception in 2001, with 15 titles.
Al-Ahly also won the title of the previous edition of the Egyptian Super Cup at the expense of Zamalek, after winning the final match with a score of (7-6) on penalties.
Zamalek will face Pyramids at 7:30 PM Cairo time, 8:30 PM Mecca time, and 9:30 PM Abu Dhabi time.

Zamalek coach Ahmed Abdel Raouf has settled on the following lineup for the match against Pyramids:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed Awad.
Defense: Omar Gaber – Mahmoud Hamdi “El Wensh” – Mohamed Ismail – Mahmoud Bentayj.
Midfield: Ahmed Rabie – Mohamed Shehata – Abdullah Al-Saeed.
Attack: Nasser Maher – Seifeddine Jaziri – Oday Dabbagh.
Zamalek is the second most decorated Egyptian club in the Egyptian Super Cup with 4 titles, the last of which was the 2019–2020 edition against Al-Ahly.
Meanwhile, Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić, manager of Pyramids FC, has settled on the following lineup for the match against Zamalek:
Goalkeeper: Ahmed El Shenawy.
Defense: Mohamed El-Sheibi – Ahmed Sami – Mahmoud Marei – Mohamed Hamdi.
Defensive midfield: Muhannad Lashin – Walid Al-Karti.
Attacking midfield: Everton – Mahmoud Zalaka – Mustafa Zico.
Attack line: Fiston Miley.
