Cairo, Egypt – The match between Barcelona and Club Brugge ended in a 3-3 draw on Wednesday evening, as part of the UEFA Champions League competition.

Barcelona visited Club Brugge at the latter’s stadium, as part of the fourth round of the Champions League group stage.

The match was very exciting from the first minutes, as Borussia Dortmund managed to score an early goal in the sixth minute.

The goal came after a perfectly executed long pass from Carlos Forbes to Nicolo Trisoldi, who powerfully shot into the net.

Club Brugge’s goal didn’t last long. Barcelona quickly responded with an equalizer in the eighth minute, through Ferran Torres after a cross from Firmin Lopes.

Club Brugge regained their lead in the 17th minute, through Carlos Forbes, who broke through on goal and fired a shot into the net.

The first half remained a back-and-forth affair between the two teams, but without any further goals being scored, ending with the Belgian team leading by two goals to one.

In the second half, Lamine Yamal leveled the score for Barcelona, scoring their second goal in the 61st minute after a backheel pass from Fermín López.

Club Brugge regained the lead once again, after Carlos Forbes scored his second goal and his team’s third in the 64th minute. The goal came after a superb pass from Hans Vanaken.

In the 71st minute, the referee awarded a penalty to Club Brugge after a challenge by Alejandro Balde. However, the referee reversed his decision after consulting the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Barcelona managed to score the third goal and equalize in the 77th minute. Yamal sent a cross that hit the head of Bruges defender Joaquin Cisse and went into the net by mistake.

The final moments brought further drama, as Romeo Vermant scored a fourth goal for Club Brugge in the 90+1 minute, but it was disallowed by the referee after a VAR review revealed an error in the build-up to the attack.

With that result, each team earned a single point. Barcelona moved up to 11th place with 7 points, while Club Brugge remained in 22nd place with 4 points.
