Cairo, Egypt – Shabab Al Ahli Dubai returned to winning ways after defeating their guest Sharjah 2-0, in the UAE League Championship 2025-2026.
Shabab Al Ahli Dubai met Sharjah on Thursday evening at Rashid Stadium, as part of the seventh round of the ADNOC Pro League.
Shabab Al Ahli started the match strongly, as Bala fired a powerful shot in the 15th minute that almost found the net, had it not been for its collision with a Sharjah defender.
Yuri Cesar opened the scoring for Shabab Al Ahli in the 36th minute, after a powerful shot from in front of the goal, following a pass from the right side.
Guilherme da Silva added the second goal for Al-Fazza Dubai in the 61st minute, after a rocket shot from inside the penalty area that found the back of the net.
Sharjah players then tried to equalize, but to no avail, and the match ended with Shabab Al Ahli winning 2-0.
The win lifted Shabab Al Ahli to 14 points, placing them third in the UAE league standings. Sharjah, meanwhile, sit in 11th place with 7 points.
