Doha, Qatar – The General Secretariat of the Gulf Football Federation announced the postponement of the start date of the Gulf Club Champions League competitions for the 2025 – 2026 season to next September 30, instead of the previously scheduled date of September 16.

The General Secretariat confirmed, on Wednesday, that the decision comes in response to the request of the company sponsoring the tournament, given the limited time available to complete the necessary organizational and technical preparations and arrangements, to ensure providing the best conditions for the start of the competitions in a manner befitting its status, after the official approval of the postponement by the Competitions Committee.

The Gulf Federation explained its endeavor to present an exceptional version of the competition, given that it enjoys a wide public following, and its keenness to provide all the elements of technical and organizational success.
