Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The DB World Golf Tour announced the start of the official countdown with 100 days remaining until the UAE hosts the final qualifiers for the tour, as intensive preparations continue to hold the Abu Dhabi HSBC and DB World Tour tournaments in Dubai, which are two of the most prominent stations on the global golf agenda.
The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will return to Yas Links Stadium from November 6 to 9, celebrating its 20th anniversary, after establishing itself as a prominent global event organized by the DB World Tour and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The tournament constitutes the first stage of the final qualifiers for the round, with the participation of 70 of the best players in the “Race to Dubai” classification.
From November 13 to 16, 2025, The Earth Stadium at Jumeirah Golf Properties in Dubai will host the DB World Tour, which marks the conclusion of the Race to Dubai season, where the top 50 players will compete for the title of champion of the season, which Rory McIlroy won last year for the sixth time in his career.
The UAE’s hosting of the final qualifiers of the round reflects the country’s prestigious position on the global sports scene.
International star Rory McIlroy, who won the four major Grand Slam titles, confirmed his participation in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship this season.
For his part, Arif Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, stressed that hosting the tournament for the 20th year in a row represents an important achievement that reflects the leadership of the capital, noting that holding it on Yas Island enhances Abu Dhabi’s position as a global sports center and provides an exceptional experience for fans and visitors.
For his part, Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, said that the DB World Tour Championship is more than just a sports competition, as it is one of the most prominent global events that Dubai hosts annually.
