Sharjah, UAE – Sharjah Lights Festival returns to wow the audience once again.
This was during the activities of its 15th session, organized by the Sharjah Trade and Tourism Development Authority.
So far, it has included 13 different locations in the Emirate of Sharjah and transformed them into vibrant artistic and light paintings.
The festival provides a unique platform for creators and artists who showcase new light and interactive experiences that create exceptional works of art and paintings, each with a story and message of meaning and impact.
In Sharjah, Al Majaz Waterfront offers the “pulse of belonging” of this seemingly living composition.
The light expands in the place to create a shared moment that visitors enter naturally, and as people gather, it turns into more than one work of art, becoming a meeting point, a moment of photography, and a beautiful break within the city with a friendly and sophisticated spirit.
In the end, it leaves a clear message: “Belonging is not just a place, but a moment we live together.”
Another highlight of this year is “Threads of Memory.”
Which transforms the avenue area into layers of carefully crafted decorations and light, with intentional details that carry warmth and familiarity, as if the heritage returns with a modern signature without losing its spirit. With the movement of visitors, the reflections change.
New angles emerge as memories that quietly return in beautiful moments.
The show in the Avenue area is more than a visual landmark, it is a cultural echo that reminds us that belonging resides in what we know, inherit, and carry forward with us.
In the show “Light Between Words”, the “House of Wisdom” building sparkles with a 3D light projection show that narrates the journey of transition from silence to expression.
From Isolation to Belonging, the work celebrates the manuscript not only as a historical monument but as a living symbol that reminds us that wisdom grows when light is shared and that belonging opens up among the words we exchange. From the darkness emerges a calm light that establishes the emotional dimension of light as knowledge.
The manuscript turns into a glowing facade as books float around it, as if the walls of the teacher give birth to vibrant stories that embody the multicultural nature of learning.
In the heart of Sharjah, Sharjah Fort shines as one of the festival’s most prominent landmarks.
Its historic facade is transformed into a pulsating light space that tells the story of “A Call to Make a Wish.”
It is an interactive video artwork that transports the viewer to a vibrant fantasy world on the wall facade.
The festival, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors from inside and outside the country, will continue until February 15.
It offers exceptional light shows that celebrate the architectural aesthetics and architectural details of the emirate’s monuments, landmarks, and cultural heritage.
While the activities of the “Village of Lights” continue until February 22 and witness the participation of a large number of diverse small and medium national projects.
Which offers visitors multiple experiences and options that meet visitors’ diverse interests.
