Sharjah Classic Cars Club launches license plate printing plant

The initiative allows members to complete all traffic transactions related to classic cars, from technical inspection, registration, payment of fees, and even printing the plate in record time, through a digital system directly linked to the federal traffic systems.

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates – In yet another milestone achievement, the Sharjah Classic Cars Club announced the opening of a factory for printing antique car license plates at its official headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah. This achievement aims to achieve institutional integration with official entities, most notably the Ministry of Interior and the Sharjah Police General Command, and aligns with the Sharjah Sports Council’s strategy, which reflects its commitment to providing integrated and smart services that meet customer expectations and enhance institutional performance.

This initiative is one of the key initiatives approved under the club’s 2024-2028 strategic plan, which focuses on core pillars including enhancing the club members’ experience within the Sharjah Customer Experience Improvement Program, digitizing services, building sustainable, integrated partnerships, empowering national talent, and preserving the heritage of classic cars. It also aims to achieve its goals of promoting institutional excellence in the sports sector, consolidating corporate identity, providing an innovative environment that supports community culture, and enhancing investment opportunities in quality events.

Commenting on the new service, His Excellency Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al-Zoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Classic Cars Club, said: “The opening of the license plate printing plant at the Sharjah Classic Cars Club represents a strategic step that enhances institutional excellence and embodies the club’s commitment to developing its services. He pointed out that the activation of the plant represents an advanced model for providing a comprehensive, smooth, fast, and reliable experience that serves both club members and customers.”

He explained that the initiative enables members to complete all traffic transactions related to old vehicles, from technical inspections, registration, payment of fees, and even printing of license plates in record time, through a digital system directly linked to federal traffic regulations. This reflects the drive towards providing a unified, smart service platform that achieves operational efficiency and contributes to raising customer satisfaction to 100% and service quality to 95%, as targeted by the performance indicators within the strategic plan.
