Voice of the Emirates – Google has categorically confirmed that Gmail users’ emails are not part of the data used to train its AI-powered systems. This refutes rumors about machine learning bots potentially accessing personal email content.

The company clarified that its models rely solely on data permitted under its privacy policies. No private correspondence or sensitive information within email accounts is accessed. It added that the systems are secured with complex layers to prevent data misuse and its transfer for training purposes.

Google also emphasized that protecting user privacy remains a “red line” across all its services. Any technological development is based on publicly available or licensed data sources, not on user messages, which are strictly confidential.

These clarifications come amid growing global debate about the limits of data use in artificial intelligence development. Maintaining user trust in major technology platforms is also crucial.
