Mexico City, Mexico – In a sharp escalation of diplomatic tensions between the two neighboring countries, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum responded firmly to widespread criticism
from the US administration regarding the adequacy of government efforts to combat gangs and organized crime.

the Mexican issue to gain votes and electoral advantages within the United States.

President Claudia’s remarks came during her regular press conference from the presidential palace in Mexico City.

the United States should likewise not interfere in Mexico’s internal affairs.”
