Moscow, China – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the execution of large-scale strikes targeting energy infrastructure and vital military facilities in Ukraine,
She confirmed that the attacks were directly focused on disrupting
the operational capabilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
Coordinated strikes and multiple locations
The daily report from the Ministry of Defense explained that tactical operational aviation,
attack drones, and missile and artillery forces,
Precision attacks were launched that severely damaged energy facilities
that supply Ukrainian military factories with the power needed for production.
The list of targets struck by Russian forces in 154 areas included, most notably,
ammunition and military equipment depots.
Long-range drone assembly plants, and temporary deployment sites
for armed nationalists, nationalists, and foreign mercenaries.
Explosions heard in Ukrainian cities
In the same context, Ukrainian media confirmed a series of violent explosions
on the night of January 1 in several cities.
Among them are Sumy, Lutsk, Kovel, and Odessa, where air defenses countered
waves of missile and drone attacks.
These operations are taking place under harsh climatic conditions,
where fighters on the front lines face the challenges of “General Frost” (the harsh winter).
This comes amid continued Russian military pressure along
the battlefronts to disrupt Ukrainian supply lines and military production.
