Paris, France – French President Emmanuel Macron announced a meeting of the countries belonging to the “coalition of the willing” supporting Ukraine. The meeting is scheduled for early January. Its aim is to strengthen political and military coordination among the participating countries and to review plans for providing economic and military support to Kyiv more effectively.
The French presidency stated that the meeting would serve as a platform for intelligence sharing. Joint strategies for addressing security challenges would be discussed, along with mechanisms for increasing military and economic aid to Ukraine.
This meeting comes at a time of escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine. Therefore, international coordination to support Kyiv is a top priority for the alliance.
