Washington, DC – The US Department of Justice has released a new batch of files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender. These files reveal unprecedented details, including information about Donald Trump’s trips on Epstein’s private plane during the 1990s.
The documents, which include tens of thousands of pages, indicate that Trump traveled on the plane on at least eight trips between 1993 and 1996. Some of these trips were with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s close associate who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping him in the sex abuse ring.
Although Trump’s name appeared in the travel logs, the documents did not contain any direct criminal charges against him. Nor did they indicate that he had any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes. The Justice Department confirmed that the names simply appeared in the travel logs. It explained that releasing these materials was in accordance with the law and did not establish any criminal liability on Trump’s part.
For his part, Trump denied any wrongdoing, asserting that he never boarded Epstein’s plane or participated in any illegal activities. He described the allegations as an attempt to politicize the case and smear his reputation. These releases come at a time of intense political debate in the United States surrounding the Epstein case. This is occurring amidst legal pressure to release all documents related to the investigations and strong reactions from Epstein’s victims, who are demanding full disclosure of all materials.
