Kyiv, Ukraine – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his readiness on Sunday to engage in serious diplomatic dialogue. This comes ahead of his participation in anticipated talks with American and European officials in Berlin, Germany, aimed at finding a political solution to end the ongoing war with Russia.
Zelenskyy said during an online press conference that the Berlin summit represents a significant milestone in the diplomatic process. He noted that the talks would take place over two days, “today and tomorrow.” This comes amid hopes for tangible progress toward international understandings regarding the crisis.
The Ukrainian president affirmed that his country is open to any initiatives that could halt the fighting, provided that Ukraine’s sovereignty and security are preserved. He noted that coordination with Western partners remains essential at this stage.
