Gaza, Palestine – As part of its ongoing efforts and in cooperation with the World Health Organization, the United Arab Emirates delivered a new batch of medicines and medical supplies to the organization’s warehouses in preparation for transporting them to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, in light of the major collapse and sharp deterioration witnessed by the health sector as a result of the ongoing siege.
The batch delivered today included 11 trucks carrying about 65 tons of various medicines, including life-saving medicines and emergency medical supplies, to meet the urgent needs of health facilities operating in the sector.

Representatives of the World Health Organization stressed that the UAE is one of the most prominent supporters of the sector, especially in the health field, and called for strengthening international efforts to provide urgent relief.
