Washington – United States | Tel Aviv – Israel
The conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel has entered a “bone-breaking” phase, as the deadline set by President Donald Trump approaches, amid intelligence reports indicating that the next target bank could reshape the region’s geopolitical map entirely.
Zero Hour… Monday as the attack date
The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a senior Israeli official, that Israel has completed preparations to launch large-scale attacks targeting the “backbone of Iran’s economy” by striking energy facilities.
The official confirmed that Tel Aviv is awaiting the final green light from Washington, suggesting that operations could begin next Monday.
At the same time, aides to President Trump revealed that targeting Iran’s infrastructure has become “legitimate” under the current military doctrine, with a plan focused on bombing vital bridges and power plants to completely paralyze Tehran’s capabilities.
“Hell” warning and the Strait of Hormuz
In one of the strongest statements since the escalation began, Trump renewed his warning via Truth Social, reminding Tehran that the deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and reach an agreement has expired.
He wrote: “Time is running out… 48 hours remain before hell breaks loose.”
Washington considers April 6 (next Monday) a final, non-negotiable deadline: either international navigation resumes in Hormuz, or Iran’s energy facilities will become confirmed military targets.
Diplomatic deadlock
On the negotiation front, military escalation appears to be overtaking diplomacy. Axios reported that Iran has firmly rejected all proposals for a temporary ceasefire, insisting instead on a permanent end to the war along with international guarantees against future U.S. attacks.
Despite intense mediation efforts to bring the parties into direct talks and build confidence measures, informed sources confirm that no breakthrough is expected before the deadline.
This places the region on the edge of a volcano that could erupt within the coming hours.
