Doha, Qatar – The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that its armed forces successfully intercepted an attack launched by several drones originating from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The ministry confirmed that the attack was completely thwarted without any casualties or material damage.

A statement from the Ministry of Defense, carried by the Qatar News Agency (QNA),
said that the country’s forces successfully intercepted all drones targeting Qatari territory.
The ministry indicated that advanced defensive measures contributed to completely mitigating the impact of the attack.
This latest attack is part of a series of attempts to target Qatar with Iranian drones and missiles in recent weeks.
The ministry had previously announced the thwarting of similar attacks involving ballistic missiles and drones.
No casualties or property damage were reported, reflecting the country’s ability to effectively counter external threats.

The Ministry of Defense affirmed that defensive measures and the ongoing training of the armed forces have
directly contributed to countering attacks and protecting national sovereignty.
The Ministry also called on all parties to respect Qatar’s sovereignty and to refrain
from any actions that threaten its security and regional stability.
It emphasized that the State is committed to taking all necessary measures
to ensure the safety of its territory and citizens.
This announcement comes as part of a series of ongoing warnings issued
by Qatar regarding potential threats from Iran.
