The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health described the humanitarian situation as “extremely critical,” citing severe shortages of medical supplies and healthcare personnel.
These conditions are worsening the suffering of civilians, particularly women and children.

Emergency and ambulance teams are operating continuously to respond to the growing number of casualties, despite significant challenges.
Hospitals are facing unprecedented strain, raising concerns about their ability to cope with the crisis.
Calls for international action
The ministry warned that ongoing strikes are deepening the humanitarian crisis and endangering thousands of civilians.
It urged the international community to intervene immediately to halt the escalation and ensure civilian protection in accordance with international law.
