Kuwait announced on Thursday that its air defenses were responding to drone attacks targeting vital installations, the first such incidents in the Gulf since the ceasefire between Iran and the United States went into effect late Tuesday night. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense stated, “The air defenses of the armed forces are currently engaging hostile drone attacks that penetrated the country’s airspace and targeted a number of vital installations,” without specifying which ones.

The Ministry of Defense announced that on April 9, 2026, the UAE air defenses did not detect any ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, or drones coming from Iran.
Lebanon
More than 200 people were killed and over 1,000 others wounded on Wednesday in simultaneous Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and several other areas in Lebanon, according to a new toll released by Health Minister Rakan Nasser Eddine on Thursday.
