Muscat, Oman – The U.S. Embassy in Muscat has advised all American citizens to immediately depart the Sultanate of Oman via commercial flights due to escalating regional tensions. The embassy emphasized that this warning is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of American citizens in the Sultanate.

An official statement from the embassy indicated that American citizens should stay informed about the latest security developments and contact the embassy regularly for guidance and advice regarding travel and residency within the Sultanate.

The statement also urged citizens to adhere to safety procedures and avoid high-risk areas. It stressed that U.S. authorities will continue to closely monitor the situation and will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of their citizens.

This warning comes at a time of heightened regional tensions in the Middle East, with escalating attacks and mutual threats between some countries. For this reason, the risks have prompted the embassy to take proactive measures to protect its citizens.
