Tehran, Iran – The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced today the launch of the 34th wave of Operation True Promise 4 against Israeli targets. It also confirmed the continuation of attacks as part of what it described as a “continuous response” to recent Israeli strikes targeting facilities and sites inside Iranian territory.
In an official statement, the IRGC explained that the new wave involved launching volleys of missiles and drones toward military targets and infrastructure within Israel. It indicated that the operation is part of a series of successive attacks aimed at pressuring Tel Aviv and halting its aggression.
The statement added that the strikes were carried out using precision guidance systems and advanced technologies to ensure the intended targets were hit. However, it did not disclose further details regarding the targeted locations or the extent of the resulting damage.
In a related development, Iranian security authorities announced the arrest of 30 people on charges of spying for Israel in recent days. This came as part of a broad security campaign to pursue what it described as Mossad-linked spy networks within the country.
State media reported that security forces dismantled intelligence cells that were gathering information on military sites and vital installations. These cells were also planning acts of sabotage in conjunction with the ongoing military escalation in the region.
Iranian authorities confirmed that investigations are continuing with those arrested. They indicated that security operations may uncover other spy networks in the coming period.
This development comes amid escalating military tensions between Iran and Israel. This is occurring against a backdrop of international warnings that the confrontation could widen into a broader regional conflict that would threaten the stability of the Middle East, international maritime security, and global energy supplies.
