Gaza, Palestine – The UAE field hospital in the Gaza Strip received a delegation from the World Health Organization on Tuesday to learn about the medical services it provides. The delegation aims to support the Palestinian health sector amidst the difficult conditions facing hospitals in Gaza.

The delegation was briefed on the field hospital’s efforts to provide emergency and essential healthcare to the population, including supplying hospitals with essential medicines and medical supplies. Hospital officials stated that the Emirati support aims to alleviate pressure on the healthcare system, particularly given the severe shortage of medicines and medical equipment. They also noted that the hospital is operating around the clock to provide care to patients across various governorates.
