The shipment was sent via El Arish Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, en route to the Rafah crossing, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

  • Contents of the relief shipment
  • Emphasis on humanitarian commitment

Direct royal directives

This humanitarian initiative comes in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation. It also follows the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Furthermore, the initiative aims to support the Palestinian people amidst the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

Contents of the relief shipment

The 100-ton shipment includes hygiene supplies for children and women, as well as basic food items. In addition, it contains essential medicines and medical supplies, which will help alleviate the suffering of residents in the Gaza Strip, particularly during Ramadan.

Emphasis on humanitarian commitment

Engineer Ibrahim Dalhan Al-Dosari, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, affirmed that this step reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause. He also noted that sending aid at this time carries a profound humanitarian dimension and embodies the values of solidarity and mutual support.

This shipment falls within the framework of joint efforts between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates through Operation “The Noble Knight 3.” It aims to support the residents of the Gaza Strip and alleviate the harsh living conditions they are enduring.
