This year, this is to direct support to Palestinian amputee children in the Gaza Strip.
With more than 1,000 children registered in Gaza waiting to receive prosthetic limbs and specialized rehabilitation services.
This campaign comes as a continuation of the humanitarian initiative launched by the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, President of the Big Heart Foundation, during the month of Ramadan of the year 2025.
The campaign aims to provide an integrated healthcare and rehabilitation pathway that goes beyond providing customized prosthetic limbs.
It also includes rehabilitation treatment and psychosocial support.
These efforts are being implemented in close cooperation with the Palestinian Cooperation Foundation, the Foundation’s main humanitarian partner in Palestine.
It is one of the most prominent humanitarian institutions operating there and has long field experience.
This is within a participatory model that empowers local competencies and enhances their role in leading rehabilitation and healthcare pathways.
In a way that consolidates the sustainability of the humanitarian impact in the long term.
This step comes as an extension of the Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian efforts.
