Washington, DC – In what were described as his most candid remarks to date, prominent Republican Senator Lindsey Graham revealed that the US administration has finalized its position on dealing with Iran.
He emphasized that the US military buildup in the region is not merely a show of force. Instead, it is part of operational plans ready for implementation.
The wait is over
In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Graham said that the ships and military assets deployed in the Middle East “didn’t come because the weather is good,” but for a specific mission.
He added, “A joint American-Israeli project to undermine the Islamic Republic’s ability to kill its own people would be great news. We are living through historic moments. If we don’t reach a solution within the next 30 days, the opportunity will be lost.”
Graham’s remarks reflect an escalation in political rhetoric within Washington.
Moreover, they also hint at an approaching critical stage in the confrontation with Tehran.
Maximum US military readiness
Graham’s remarks coincide with reports from US military officials that American forces
in the Middle East have completed their deployment to forward attack positions.
According to these reports, the US military command under President Donald Trump is fully prepared
to launch large-scale strikes by the end of the week. This will happen should the order be given.
The leaks indicate that the preparations involve a coordinated attack targeting vital Iranian regime capabilities.
Additionally, this is part of a plan to diminish its military and strategic capabilities.
