Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Muslim Council of Elders emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the spiritual and educational lessons of the holy month of Ramadan. It urged translating them into practical behavior that strengthens unity and coexistence among the various components of the Muslim community. Moreover, these lessons reinforce the principles of human fraternity, a culture of dialogue, and acceptance of others.
Renewing the meanings of mercy and tolerance
In a statement issued on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Council explained that this month represents a great spiritual opportunity to renew the values of mercy, tolerance, and solidarity.
