Munich, Germany – His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, met with Armin Laschet, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany “Bundestag”.

His Excellency Dr. Ali Al Nuaimi stressed the depth of partnership and cooperation relations between the UAE and Germany, and the continuous development they are witnessing in various fields.
Especially political, economic and investment, reflecting the common keenness of the governments of the two countries to expand their horizons.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation, and the mechanism for activating communication channels to exchange legislative and oversight expertise.
In addition to coordination in parliamentary forums on issues of common interest, in a way that serves the interests of both friendly countries.
The two parties stressed that parliamentary diplomacy has today become one of the most effective communication tools in promoting constructive dialogue and expanding horizons of cooperation between peoples.
The meeting also discussed developments in regional and international situations, and stressed the importance of supporting calm efforts to enhance security and stability.
They stressed the important role of parliaments in supporting international peace and security tracks, consolidating the values of tolerance and dialogue, and respecting the principles of international law.
