Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, discussed with Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on Monday, fraternal relations, various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries, and opportunities to enhance them.
Especially in the development and economic fields, in a way that serves their common interests.
This came during His Highness’s reception in Abu Dhabi of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who made a fraternal visit to the Emirates.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
Foremost among them are developments in the Middle East region and the efforts made towards them.
In this context, His Highness the President of the State and the Egyptian President stressed the importance of moving forward with the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, and allowing sufficient humanitarian aid to enter the Strip without obstacles to alleviate the suffering of its residents.
In addition to the importance of pushing towards a just and comprehensive peace process in the region, which is based on the «two-state solution», in a way that ensures regional security and stability.
His Highness and the Egyptian President also stressed their keenness to continue fraternal consultation and joint coordination for the good of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
They stressed the importance of working to enhance the causes of peace in the region, in a way that contributes to maintaining its security and stability, and achieving development and prosperity for its people.

The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, arrived earlier, Monday, in the UAE on a fraternal visit.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, was at the forefront of those receiving him upon his arrival at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi.
The reception was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and senior state officials.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi left the country at the conclusion of his visit, where His Highness the President of the Emirates was at the forefront of bidding him farewell at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi.
