Beirut, Lebanon – The Lebanese Prime Minister affirmed that the right of southern residents to security and a dignified life is an indivisible national right, emphasizing the government’s commitment to protecting citizens and strengthening stability in border areas.

He noted that the state is working to support the resilience of the residents and improve living conditions and public services. This comes amidst the security and economic challenges facing the country, underscoring the necessity of concerted national and international efforts to ensure stability.

These statements come amidst escalating tensions on the southern border. This reflects the Lebanese leadership’s keenness to send reassuring messages domestically and reaffirm national sovereignty.
