Cairo, Egypt – His Excellency Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, condemned the deliberate

and serious violations committed by Israel against the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip,

and its continued targeting of civilians and destruction of homes,

which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 28 Palestinians and the injury of others.

Al-Yamahi confirmed in an official statement that these violations represent a disregard

for the efforts of the mediators and a blow to any commitment to de-escalation.

He stressed that what is happening in Gaza falls under the category of war crimes and crimes against humanity

that require immediate and urgent accountability in accordance with international law.

humanitarian aid flow

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the escalation of events.

He stressed that the international community bears some responsibility for failing to protect civilians.

Al-Yamahi called on the UN Security Council to take urgent action to compel Israel to implement the ceasefire agreement.

To secure international protection for the Palestinian people in all occupied territories,

and to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid without restrictions or obstacles.

Al-Yamahi stressed that the continued Israeli attacks on civilians

and infrastructure in Gaza deepen the crisis and threaten regional stability.

He stressed that the Arab Parliament will continue to closely monitor the situation

and work to intensify diplomatic efforts to stop the violence and protect civilians.

International community support

This statement comes after a series of previous statements by the Arab Parliament,

which welcomed the signing of the ceasefire agreement.

She called on the international community to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities.

The latest international report was praised for documenting Israeli violations against Palestinian civilians.

This includes crimes of genocide according to international law.

Al-Yamahi stressed that diplomatic solutions and adherence to international legitimacy represent

the best way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in Gaza.

He stressed the importance of the international community supporting the Palestinian people and protecting them from any future escalation.
