Rome, Italy – Inter Milan secured a valuable 2-0 victory against their hosts Cremonese. The match took place on Sunday evening as part of the 23rd round of the Italian Serie A.
Argentine Lautaro Martinez opened the scoring for Inter Milan in the 16th minute, after rising to meet a perfect cross from Federico Dimarco, and heading the ball powerfully into the net.
The Polish player Piotr Zielinski added the second goal for the Nerazzurri in the 31st minute, following a pass from Luis Henrique, which he received and fired a rocket shot from outside the penalty area, which the Cremonese goalkeeper was unable to stop.
