Gaza, Palestine – Hamas called on Israel to fully implement all provisions of the ceasefire agreement without exception or delay. The movement stressed that any delay or breach of the agreed-upon obligations threatens the truce and undermines efforts to alleviate the humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip.

In an official statement, Hamas emphasized the necessity of Israel’s adherence to all the commitments outlined in the agreement. It stressed the importance of opening the Rafah crossing in both directions without any restrictions. This would guarantee the free movement of people and the flow of humanitarian aid and basic necessities to the population. Hamas asserted that the continued restrictions on the crossings exacerbate the already dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

The movement demanded the immediate entry of all necessary supplies into the Gaza Strip in the required quantities. It also called for the lifting of the ban on all humanitarian and relief materials and supplies. Hamas noted that the Strip is facing a severe shortage of basic necessities as a result of the ongoing restrictions. It clarified that providing these necessities is a humanitarian and legal obligation and should not be subject to political or security considerations.

Hamas also called for the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip. Hamas stressed the need to facilitate the work of the national committee tasked with monitoring the implementation of the agreement’s provisions. This would ensure a conducive environment for stability and the commencement of the recovery and reconstruction phase.

In a related development, the movement announced that it had provided the mediators with the necessary information on an ongoing basis. This contributed to the recovery of another body that had been held. Hamas also affirmed its commitment to cooperating with the mediators’ efforts to ensure the agreement’s success and the full implementation of its provisions as agreed upon.

Hamas reiterated its demand that Israel fully implement the ceasefire agreement. This would guarantee the opening of the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side and the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid. It would also ensure a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. Hamas emphasized that adherence to these provisions is the true path to consolidating the truce and alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people.
