Washington, USA – US President Donald Trump said that Venezuela may not be the last country to be targeted by US intervention. This indicates that Washington will continue to pursue firm policies. These policies target what he described as regimes that threaten regional stability and US interests.

Trump explained in press statements that the American intervention in Venezuela

It stemmed from a vision aimed at rebuilding the state. The goal is to put an end to the deteriorating conditions it is witnessing.

He believes that changing the existing system is a better option. This is compared to the political, economic, and humanitarian crises the country is currently experiencing.

He added that the United States is not trying to seek chaos or destabilization. Rather, it aims to support peoples suffering from mismanagement and corruption.

He stressed that Washington sees reconstruction and political reform in Venezuela as a necessary step. This would put the country back on the path of stability and development.

Trump indicated that his country would continue to use all the political and economic tools at its disposal.

It may resort to other options if necessary. This is in order to protect its national security and the interests of its allies.

He pointed out that the message the United States is sending is clear to anyone who threatens international stability.

Trump’s remarks come at a time when Venezuela is experiencing escalating political tensions and severe economic repercussions.

Amid international divisions regarding the stance on recent developments,

This opens the door to multiple scenarios regarding the future of the country and Washington’s role in the next phase.
