The officers said in a widely circulated statement that the Ministry of Interior congratulates
what they consider to be victories achieved by the “Southern Armed Forces”
in the areas of Wadi Hadramawt, Al-Mahra and Shabwa.
They believe that these moves have contributed to cutting off smuggling routes
that are used – according to the statement – to support the Houthi militia.
Ending the influence of the Brotherhood
The statement added that these developments represent a “strategic turning point”
for the security of what they called “South Arabia” and the region in general.

This is in addition to dismantling terrorist organization strongholds
that were active in some provinces.
The officers explained that they are following developments
on the southern front with great interest.
They stressed that the ongoing moves aim, as they put it, to consolidate sovereignty
and achieve the aspirations of the people of South Arabia.

Unjustified escalation

This is in addition to the Yemeni people and their sincere efforts to reduce escalation i
n the eastern governorates and protect the legal status of the state.”
Al-Alimi added: “We affirm our commitment to the partnership with the Kingdom,
and to uniting ranks in order to achieve the aspirations of Yemenis for security, stability and peace.”
